Here are some spring color trends for fashion 2011.  Let's see if they make their way into home decor.....

Honeysuckle pink, a bright reddish pink, has been voted color of the year by PANTONE.  This color goes well with other brights like orange, aqua, khaki, and sand.

Teen Scene

My daughter helped me with some teen designs recently and I love her work.  She did the girl and the shoes, which is pretty much everything!  Well, there are many more designs in this collection, but I just came across these two today.

All wrapped up features "hundreds of gift wrap samples from the grooviest decade: the 1960's". I love this book.

Happy Holidays

This village is one of my favorite family heirlooms.  It's from Germany and my parents always put it out for Christmas with our Merklin train set.  Spun fiberglass snow, sparks from the train tracks, and lights inside the houses made for an unforgettable memory.

Sheep and Wool Festival

I must admit that this is my favorite festival! The colors, people, food, fiber and of course the animals. Nothing is more enjoyable than selecting lovingly created and beautifully dyed wool. The animal attendees are always interesting and totally entertaining to look at! Love them!
